Doggo

Frens nearby

See who’s out walking near you right now. Then go say hi.

Just moved and the dog is bored out of his mind? Posted on Nextdoor and heard nothing? Doggo’s frens layer is the part of the app that turns a map of places into a map of people, without turning into another feed you have to maintain.

How it works

  • Share a walk with frens or everyone, and you appear as a “walkies” pin on the map while you are out. Stop sharing and the pin is gone.
  • Ping frens within 5km to join a walk. No group chat to organise, no “who’s around?” post.
  • Pawties: meetups anyone can host, with a map pin, an event chat and a record of which dogs went.
  • The welcome board: every new dog in your area, with a paw to say hi and a short private note.
  • Family packs: share one dog (or ten) between the people who actually walk them.

Useful on day one, better with a pack

The honest problem with every dog-social app is “nobody here”. Doggo is built so the map, the walk tracker and the Passport are worth it on their own, and the frens layer is a bonus that grows as your city joins. You never have to share anything to get value from the app.

Plain-English answers

Frequently asked questions

Can people see where I live?

No. You only appear on the map while you are actively sharing a walk, and only to the audience you picked. Walks are private by default.

Can I message other dog owners?

Yes, with limits. Strangers can send a small number of messages before the other person replies, which keeps the inbox civil.
